How to fix the “Alert Channel – error in getting ha status” Error of the McAfee Network Security Platform?

Generally, this error is faced by the users when they are performing any of the process mentioned below:
When the users are trying or making an attempt to establish a trust between the Sensor and the Manager of the McAfee Network Security Platform. A message will be displayed on the screen, as shown below:

“Alert Channel – error in getting ha status.”
When the users are observing the Sensor status, they may see the error message as shown below:

Solution:

To resolve the error “Alert Channel – error in getting ha status” on the McAfee Network Security Platform, remove the MDR configuration from the database configuration. To do so, follow the below mentioned stepwise procedure:

(Note: The commands in the CMD are case-sensitive i.e. the lower-case ‘ d’ is not same as upper-case ‘D’.)
Click Start >> Run or press “Window key + R” keys on the keyboard.
Now, type “CMD” in the Run window and then click “OK”.
The CMD window will appear on the screen, in this window type the following command:cd \mysql\bln;
After this, press the “Enter” key.
Now, type the command “mysql –u root –p –D If;” and then, press “Enter” key. (Here If resembles the name of the database. And replace it with the name of the database, if you have changed it.)
And then, type the root password for the database.
After this, type the command “SELECT mdr_config_Id FROM Iv_mdr_config;” and press “Enter” key.
A value will be returned, record that value.
Now type the command “DELETE FROM Iv_mdr_config WHERE mdr_config_id = <returned value recorded in the previous step.>” and press “Enter” key.
Repeat the steps 7 to 9 till there are no other returned values.
